This first trailer for the movie Gone Girl, based on bestselling author Gillian Flynn’s bestselling novel of the same name, completely reeled me in! Haunting footage backed by Richard Butler’s stirring rendition of the song “She” limits a great deal of the conversation which will no doubt take place in the movie. According to fans of Gillian’s book, the wonderful thing about this trailer is that those who haven’t read the novel will think they can predict the story-line from watching this trailer alone, but in reality it barely begins to plumb the depths of what actually takes place. Despite not having read the book yet, I am so happy that the author is having lots of input on this film.
