This first footage for director Alejandro Iñárritu’s Birdman is quite…interesting. Oh, it’s mystifying too. I like the frenetic way in which the dichotomy between the protagonist’s highs and lows is presented. I know it’s supposed to be a comedy of sorts, but personal struggle stories are usually fodder for their audience to do some serious thinking as well.
